Privacy Policy

How we handle personal data on this website. The legally binding version is the German text.

Last updated: August 2026

1. Controller

LIFLEG Technologies UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Parcusstr. 6, 55116 Mainz, Deutschland. Represented by Miqueias N. Martiniano Pinto. Email: info@lifleg.com, phone: +49 178 8958073.

For any question regarding this policy or your rights, contact us at the address above.

2. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by our hosting provider on our behalf under a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR). When you access the site, the provider automatically records technical data in log files: IP address, date and time of the request, requested page, referrer, browser and operating system.

This processing is necessary to deliver the website securely and reliably. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure, stable operation). Log data is stored only for as long as necessary for secure and technical operation and is then deleted or anonymised. Where data is processed outside the European Economic Area in this context, the transfer takes place on the basis of the safeguards provided for in Art. 44 et seq. GDPR.

3. Contact by email

If you contact us by email, the data you provide (name, email address, message content, company) is processed solely to handle your enquiry. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for pre-contractual measures, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. We delete the data once the enquiry is settled and no statutory retention period applies.

4. Cookies and consent

This website only stores information on your device that is strictly necessary, unless you explicitly consent to more. Analytics is loaded only after your consent (§ 25(1) TDDDG, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

Your choice is stored locally in your browser (localStorage key "lifleg_consent") together with a timestamp and the policy version. We also store your language preference locally. You can withdraw or change your consent at any time via "Cookie settings" in the footer — withdrawal is as easy as granting and takes effect immediately.

5. Google Analytics 4

Only with your consent do we use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. It helps us understand which pages are read and where visitors come from, so we can improve this site.

Google Analytics sets cookies (e.g. _ga, _ga_*) and processes usage data such as pages visited, approximate location, device and browser. IP addresses of users in the EU are not logged or stored by Google. Advertising features and Google Signals are disabled. The retention period for user- and event-level data is set to 14 months.

Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA. Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, so transfers rely on the European Commission's adequacy decision (Art. 45 GDPR). Insofar as a transfer is not based on an adequacy decision, the standard contractual clauses provided by Google apply.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent). You can withdraw consent at any time via "Cookie settings" in the footer; we then delete the analytics cookies set on this domain.

6. Demo booking via Calendly

To arrange a demo appointment we use Calendly. Provider is Calendly LLC, 115 E Main St, Ste A1B, Buford, GA 30518, USA.

Calendly is not loaded when you merely visit this website. Only when you explicitly call up the "Book demo" function is the Calendly booking interface loaded. In the process, technical data, in particular your IP address and browser information, may be transmitted to Calendly.

When you book an appointment, Calendly processes the data you enter, in particular name, email address, company, chosen appointment and, where applicable, further information, for the purpose of arranging and conducting the appointment.

Calendly processes booking data partly as a processor for us. For certain own processing operations and in the case of embedded services, Calendly may also itself be a controller under data protection law.

The processing of the data required for arranging the appointment is carried out on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Insofar as consent is required for optional cookies or comparable technologies, processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.

A transfer of data to the USA may take place. Calendly uses the transfer mechanisms provided for under applicable data protection law for this purpose.

To organise and hold agreed demo appointments we also use a calendar and video conferencing service. In particular, name, email address, appointment time and appointment information may be processed. The processing is carried out to organise and hold the requested appointment on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

Alternatively, you can arrange an appointment by email at info@lifleg.com.

7. No automated decision-making

We do not carry out automated decision-making or profiling within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR on this website.

8. Your rights

You have the right to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), and to object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21). Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time with effect for the future.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit Rheinland-Pfalz.
